I'm still a citizen of Aydensfell. I guess it's one way to deal with being stuck here, though I'd rather not.

Dunno, it sounds a bit like giving up in a way to me.

I mean, if becoming a citizen gave you a lot of benefits, I'll be all over it, but, it just looks useless right now. Just looks like giving up on leaving.

If housing rates were more difficult than pulling leaves off of trees, maybe.

We didn't come here through ordinary means... I'm wondering if being an official citizen would bind us to the city, or have some other magical effect.

Okay! Now that's a scary thought. Not that I wanted to in the first place, but really not going to sign that paper just in case.

But I wouldn't put it past them.
